Hello, we are a nostalgic 50's style diner looking for a General/Kitchen Manager for both our winter offseason operation, as well as to head up our new food truck operation during the main busy summer season. During the upcoming winter season we are looking for someone to lead theoperation as a main cook, as well as run administrative tasks such as inventory, ordering, and team management of a small crew. We will be open 7 hours a day, 5 days a week and 45% of your salary will be paidthrough this period.During Summer, we are looking for someone to lead our new food truck operation as the main cook as well as continue similar administrative tasks such asinventory, ordering, and team management of the two trucks and pavilion. Summer is a busier time with longer days, but guaranteed1 day off a week. The reminaing 55% of your salary will be paid duing this period.In the down time between these two operational periods, you are welcome to take time off as an unpaid vacaiton, or can take hourly manager/cook shifts at the main diner locaitonwithadditional pay on top of the offered salary.We are also offeringemployee housing in the area at a 50% discount for the first year of employemnt: $200 for a private room with bathroom and shared kitchen. $400 for a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with kitchen.This position startsASAP with a training period paid at an introductory rate of $16 and hour, and $19 an hour oncetraining is complete. Salary starts at the end of october, once the main season come to a conclusion. Training will be led by our main general manager of 7 years who you will be working with closely during your employement.Cuisine is classic american food with a focus on Burgers at the main Diner locaiton, and Fried Chicken at the new food truck pavilion.Expected Specific Dates of Operation:Now - October 26th: Training Period. October 27th - April 19th: Off Season Managemnt of Main Diner (45% of Salary)April 20th - May 17th: Unpaid Vacation Time or Extra Hourly Shifts as Available.May 18th - September 6th: Food Truck Pavilion General/Kitchen Management (55% of Salary)September 7th - October 25th:Unpaid Vacation Time or Extra Hourly Shifts as Available.Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
